Financial Design for Startups
Most founders approach finance reactively. They raise money because they need
it, accept terms because they feel they have no leverage, dilute themselves
early, lose strategic control, and spend years regretting decisions made in a
rush.
FDS takes a different starting point: treat finance as a design problem. Align
your company's purpose, your business opportunity, your financing strategy,
your time horizon and your own agenda as an owner — deliberately, rather than
one emergency at a time.
Built on eight years of research into what actually happens to venture-funded
startups (the Exit Value Studies, Chalmers and University of Gothenburg,
2016–2024), and on thirty years in the Swedish startup ecosystem. For
founders, board members, and the coaches and mentors who work with them.
